Heather E. Harris, Ph.D.
Love and effective communication transform us, our communities, our organizations, and our world when they are intentional and applied.
For more than 25 years I have worked in media and the academy. I started as a newspaper reporter, and then moved to television as a reporter and anchor. I continued in the field by producing a daily regional Caribbean news show on radio where I also served as a host. My work as a journalist occurred in Canada, the Caribbean, and Namibia. Today I remain connected to media by writing opinion pieces, providing commentaries on media representations, and giving keynote addresses. I also serve as a professor of communication at an institution where I was the inaugural Director of Multicultural Affairs. Additionally, I work with boards that seek to foster social justice.
Academic and health organizations have benefitted from consultations. I would welcome the opportunity to facilitate your transformation whether individual, community-focused, or organizational through the power of love and effective communication using the Heart Positioning System (HPS).
Let’s use love as the foundation to overcoming your communication challenges as part of the achievement of your goals.
